Don’t be worried, the Canon DR-M160II scanning equipment features the Automatic Color Detection setting, and it’s very easy to use.

When was the last time you had to remove blank pages manually? The Canon DR-M160II will do this automatically, when you use the Blank page detection function.

Quality of images

Gone are the days when post processing of documents is required. With the Smooth Background option, your documents will have a perfect background.

Can you trust the Document Allignment totally? Maybe not, but on the Canon DR-M160II it will work perfectly most of the time.

Correct Punched Holes is an option that is not present on the Canon DR-M160II. I would have hoped it was available.|Would you purchase a scanner that is missing the Correct Punched Holes function as it is the case with the Canon DR-M160II.

I really like using Streaks Removal on documents with writing only, but the scanner here doesn’t feature it.


Extra Features

Should you use the Feeding Paper by Hand mode with this machine? I would say it works well on the Canon DR-M160II scanner.

I’ve started indexing through Detect Barcodes for some time now, most often using QR codes. This scanner has Detect Barcodes , but check if it’s optional or standard.

Always make sure your scanner has the Automatic Separation of Documents available. Especially for QR Codes

An Optical Character Recognition is standard with this scanner, as you would expect.

Have you worked with Zonal OCR ? Try it, especially for forms processing.
