Xerox 3125 scanner | A trully honest review.

The good: The Xerox 3125 is capable of scanning 70 images / minute at 200dpi while being able to scan 3000 pages every day. It can stack 50 pages in it’s ADF tray and has integrated OCR

The bad: OCR seems to slow it down a bit while scanning. Is it worth buying? At this price point, it’s quite good value for a scanner. How much does it actually cost now?

The driver of the the Xerox 3125 offers Automatic Rotation of Images , and it is easy to use it.

The first productivity feature that we look for is the Document Auto Color Detection . The Xerox 3125 has this feature and we recommend you use it.

I can’t imagine running a scanner without the Blank document removal . This setting is mandatory on just about any machine and it is available on the Xerox 3125.

It’s still strange to think the Xerox 3125 does not have Multi image output . It’s a bad surprise from my point of view.

Gone are the days when post processing of documents is required. With the Background Removal option, your documents will have a perfect background.

Sometimes the Document Edge Cleanup function might not work correctly. For the Xerox 3125 with colored images.

One of the images processing functions I like is the Deskew document feature. Use it and you will not be dissapointed.

I enjoy using Streaks Filtering on typed pages, but the Xerox 3125 doesn’t feature it.

Extra Features

How good is the Xerox 3125 for crumpled documents? Just turn on the Feeding Paper by Hand and check for yourself!

Usually, the Field Indexing is available either or on expensive scanners or expensive software. The Xerox 3125 is missing this feature.
