The Xerox 152i has a capture zone of 8.27 in x 11.69 in.

The Xerox 152i can achieve a real scanning resolution 600.

A scanner like this one, is operating with a CCD sensor.

When you are thinking of data transfer, the scanner works with Hi-Speed USB 2.0.

Users can scan at 25 Pages per minute in simplex mode when you use the simplex option.

The duplex mode achieves 50 Images every minute in duplex for this scanner.

Maybe you’ll be surprised to hear that this scanner is optimized for an average Duty cycle of 2500 pages daily.

The Xerox 152i works with Twain, Wia, Isis and Ica industry standard interface.

If you have to do roller replacement, then probably they have gone through about 600.000 sheets.

Specs for paper handling

To prevent double feeding, this equipment uses an No for proper Multifeed Detection.

When considering this product, take into account that the ADF capacity can accomodate up to 50.

This Xerox 152i scanner, will scan a maximum Document thickness of 16 lb. to 28 lb..

If you have a document that is 14 in long, the Xerox 152i will scan it.

Xerox 152i accesories unboxing

The scanner has a dimmension of 12 x 17.6 x 12.9 inches.

Features for Productivity

Enable the Auto Crop and pages will come out at their original size.

The driver of the the Xerox 152i offers Automated Rotation of Documents, and it is easy to use it.

One of the productivity features that we love is Automatic Color Detection . This Xerox 152i scanner works with such a setting.

As you would expect, you can run this scanner with the White page detection . You can enable it from the driver.

Going through the driver of the MultiStream , you will soon notice it does not feature MultiStream .

Quality of images

I have seen the Smooth Background setting improve with every update of the driver, and it is the same case with the Xerox 152i scanner.

With the Image Edge Fill on the Xerox 152i scanner, your scanned images will look better than your paper documents

Straightening Image can be done by enabling this setting in the scanner driver. It will only conflict with other special settings on the Xerox 152i scanner from time to time, so keep it on.

Correct Punched Holes is a setting that is not installed on the Xerox 152i. I would have wished it was present.|Would you get a device without the Correct Punched Holes function as it is the situation with the Xerox 152i.

I enjoy using Streaks Detection on typed pages, but this device is missing it.

Extra Features

Can you use the Xerox 152i to scan really old documents? It should work if you enable the Feed Paper Manually settings.

If you expect to use the scanner with the Detect Barcodes feature, you ‘ll be in for a shock. The Xerox 152i is not delivered with the barcode index solution.

On the Xerox 152i the Auto Document Separation setting is missing. That reduces the productivity a great deal.

I can’t imagine this scanner without the Optical Character Recognition setting, as I tend to use it quite a lot these days.

Usually, the OCR Predefined Zone is available either or on expensive scanners or expensive software. The Xerox 152i is missing this feature.
