With the Canon DR M260, the manufacturers offers the fastest alternative from this family of scanners
Just like its small brothers, it uses the same software and has the same technical specs
We can see an increase in speed, therefore at least in theory, the daily duty cycle should increase.

Features for Productivity
Enable the Automatic Cropping and pages will come out at their original size.I like the Auto Image Rotate for documents that are not homogenous when it comes to orientation. A mix of portrait and landscape documents will be handled by the Auto Image Rotate mode.
Don’t be worried, the Canon DR-M260 scanning equipment features the Document Auto Color Detection setting, and it’s very easy to use.
I can’t imagine running a scanner without the White page detection . This setting is mandatory on just about any machine and it is available on the Canon DR-M260.

Quality of images
Gone are the days when post processing of documents is required. With the Background Cleaning option, your documents will have a perfect background.I preffer using the Image Edge Fill setting for text documents. I would not use it for photos though
Can you trust the Skew Reduction totally? Maybe not, but on the Canon DR-M260 it will work perfectly most of the time.
No more black holes on the side of the paper. Now you can cover them during scanning with the Hole Punch Removal option in the Canon DR-M260 driver.
I really like using Vertical Streaks Reduction on text documents, but the Canon DR-M260 doesn’t feature it.
Extra Features
How good is the Canon DR-M260 for crumpled documents? Just turn on the Feed Paper Manually and check for yourself!I can’t imagine scanning without Detect Barcodes . It really is a good separation or indexing method.
As you probably know, Automatic Separation of Documents works with Barcodes or Patchcodes.
An Optical Character Reading is standard with this scanner, as you would expect.
For predefined forms I preffer the Zonal OCR , just like with other standardized documents.
