Visioneer Patriot D40 Review | Good scanner, decent price!

What’s good? The Visioneer Patriot D40 has a color scan speed of 80 ipm, a decent price, comes with a complete software bundle, has a large ADF tray and can scan 6000 pages per day

What’s bad? Duplex scanning slows it down a lot, and it’s also different at 200 or 300dpi

Should I buy it? Well, you can also check the Epson Workforce or Brother Imagecenter alternatives. How much does it cost?

Features for Productivity

Enable the Automtic Page Size Detection and pages will come out at their original size.

You should use the Automatic Rotation of Images for non specific orientation. The Visioneer Patriot D40 has such a setting and you can set it up in the driver.

It’s often a good thing to have color pages identified automatically. A Visioneer Patriot D40 scanner will let you use this function easily.

The Visioneer Patriot D40 can proccess documents in different settings in a single job. This is done through the MultiStream option.

I have seen the Background Cleaning setting improve with every update of the driver, and it is the same case with the Visioneer Patriot D40 scanner.
