One feature I enjoy in the Alaris Kodak i5250 and other machines, is the Document Auto Color Detection . Try it, and it will definitely change your life.

For standard documents, I always have the Correct Punched Holes setting turned on in the driver.

Should you have the Streaks Detection function always turned on? Especially for text documents I recommend you leave it on.

Extra Features

Should you use the Feed Paper Manually mode with this machine? I would say it works well on the Alaris Kodak i5250 scanner.

Check if your scanner comes with free Bar Code Discovery . If not, buy this option or get another scanner who has it.
