Quality of images

Straightening documents automatically is possible with the Epson DS-780N. Luckily, the Deskew document feature will allign most images quite well.
For standard documents, I always have the Hole Punch Removal setting turned on in the driver.
The Streaks Filtering setting is most often sold on more expensive equipment . The scanner in question is missing Streaks Filtering .

When scanning fragile documents, this Feed Paper Manually setting will help you scan safely with the Epson DS-780N.I’ve started indexing through Barcode Recognition for some time now, most often using QR codes. This scanner has Barcode Recognition , but check if it’s optional or standard.
Always make sure your scanner has the Separate Documents Automatically available. Especially for QR Codes
