Enable the Automatic Cropping and pages will come out at their original size.

I like the Automatic Rotation of Images for documents that are not homogenous when it comes to orientation. A mix of portrait and landscape documents will be handled by the Automatic Rotation of Images mode.

It’s always a nice thing to have colored documents detected automatically. A Epson DS-770 offers this function as standard through its driver.

Affraid of manually removing white pages? Don’t be, as the Blank document removal is available with the Epson DS-770.

I just love the Multi image output spec. It allows me to output files in color, black and white or grayscale in the same job

Quality of images

Remember the time when you had to use photoshop for scans? Especially on the Epson DS-770 the Background Cleaning is an image enhancement feature you should use.

Sometimes the Edge Correction function might not work correctly. For the Epson DS-770 with colored images.

Document Allignment can be done by enabling this setting in the scanner driver. It will only conflict with other special settings on the Epson DS-770 scanner from time to time, so keep it on.

When was the last time you had Perforated Page Correction turned off? Personally, I can’t remember when that was.

I really like using Streaks Filtering on text documents, but this device doesn’t feature it.

When scanning fragile documents, this Manual Feed Mode setting will help you scan safely with the Epson DS-770.

Check if your scanner comes with free Bar Code Discovery . If not, buy this option or get another scanner who has it.

Auto Separation is one of those features I really like playing with. Currently, for Auto Separation I still find patch codes reliable.

It’s safe to say that Optical Character Reading is something no scanner should miss. Scanning is not possible without it today.
