For mixed size documents, I usually set maximum size and let the Automatic Cropping do its job.You should use the Automated Rotation of Documents for non specific orientation. The Panasonic KV-S1046C has such a setting and you can set it up in the driver.
Regarding Automatic Color Detection , we could not imagine the Panasonic KV-S1046C not having it and use not using it.
You have probably heard of the Blank document removal setting. Well, it will be available with this scanner so we recommend you enable it.
The Panasonic KV-S1046C can proccess documents in different settings in a single job. This is done through the Dual stream scanning option.
Quality of images
The Background Smoothing is a must have feature with any scanner and the Panasonic KV-S1046C scanner has it as standard.The Page Margin Cleanup helps you by cleaning your scanned scanned documents.
When you have bad quality paper going through the Panasonic KV-S1046C, just keep the Deskew document box active and you should have perfectly alligned pages.
No more black holes on the side of the paper. Now you can cover them during scanning with the Hole Punch Removal option in the Panasonic KV-S1046C driver.
I enjoy using Vertical Streaks Reduction on documents with writing only, but the scanner here does not have this option.
Extra Features
Sometimes I prefer enabling the Manual Feed Mode from the driver, to make sure the Panasonic KV-S1046C will process older documents safely.Although the Barcode Detection isn’t the only separation method, I recommend you get it.
