Longjoy LV-1010 Datasheet Explained

The Longjoy LV-1010 document camera can capture 14 images per minute. It has a resolution of 300 dpi. This is comprehensible since it uses 5 PX cameras.

It can capture a variety of documents up to A3 size. It has a maximum document size of 11.7 in. x 16.5 in. (297 x 420 mm). This means that it can be used to capture documents that are as long as 16.5 inches. Document thickness is not something to worry about when using Longjoy LV-1010. It is capable of capturing documents that have varying sizes and shapes. It can capture documents that are in folders as well as objects like books, magazines, ID cards, and passports.

It supports USB 2.0 connectivity. It is powered by USB. It, however, does not support wireless connections. It should be connected to a computer via USB for it to capture any documents.

It comes with a CMOS 5M sensor. It also comes with a native driver interface. This may make it difficult to integrate into custom applications..

Features for Productivity

The Longjoy LV-1010 document camera does not offer duplex scanning since it is not document-fed. When scanning double-sided documents, you may need to turn the documents manually for them to be captured.

It does not offer Automatic color detection but it provides high-quality color since it uses cameras. This is a great feature, especially when scanning colored documents.

It does not offer automatic image rotation. This means that the images are stored just as they are captured. For instance, if you capture a document in landscape mode, the image will also be in landscape mode.

It does not offer automatic image cropping. However, you can limit what the camera can capture to minimize the appearance of unnecessary details on the document’s edges.

While a document may have a clean background to the naked eye, when you scan it, the background might not look clean. Most scanners offer Background Removal to help clean the background. This scanner does not offer this feature, however, since it uses cameras, the image background may look cleaner compared to images from a typical scanner.

Quality of images

The Longjoy LV-1010 document camera supports Optical Character Recognition (OCR). This enables it to create editable and searchable PDF files.

It does not support Automatic Deskew. Automatic Deskew is a feature that aligns documents that were not scanned straight. This, however, should not be a worry since you can ensure the documents are positioned correctly before capturing them.

It does not offer Punch Hole Removal. This means that when scanning documents that have punch holes, the holes will appear in the images. This may not affect the quality of the images in any way. Mostly the punch holes do not interfere with the documents’ contents.

Longjoy LV-1010 accesories unboxing

The Longjoy LV-1010 document camera does not come with an Automatic Document Feeder (ADF). Since it is not sheet-fed, you have to put and remove documents or objects from the camera’s view as needed.

It has an ultra-compact design and measures 8 in x 4 in x 9 in. This is pretty small. It weighs 2.15 lb. (0.97 kg). It is not the lightest but it is very portable.

It comes bundled with LongjoyCam Software which supports screen recording, photo taking and has a PDF creating function. It is also capable of combining multiple PDF files into one..
