Regarding Automatic Color Detection , we could not imagine the Epson DS-575W not having it and use not using it.

When was the last time you had to remove blank pages manually? The Epson DS-575W will do this automatically, when you use the Blank document removal function.

Thinking of using the Multi image output function? Go ahead, as it is standard on the Epson DS-575W.

Quality of images

With the Epson DS-575W you can expect perfectly clean documents. Just enable the Background Removal and let it do its magic.

The Image Edge Fill helps you by cleaning your scanned scanned documents.

One of the images processing functions I like is the Skew Reduction feature. Use it and you will not be dissapointed.

Black dots on the side of the document? Tick the Correct Punched Holes box and your Epson DS-575W scanner will fill them automatically.

I really like using Streaks Detection on documents with writing only, but the Epson DS-575W is missing it.

Extra Features

Can you use the Epson DS-575W to scan really old documents? It should work if you enable the Feeding Paper by Hand settings.

I’ve started indexing through Bar Code Discovery for some time now, most often using QR codes. This scanner has Bar Code Discovery , but check if it’s optional or standard.

Auto Document Separation is one of those features I really like playing with. Currently, for Auto Document Separation I still find patch codes reliable.

The Optical Character Recognition is mandatory on just about any scanner and the Epson DS-575W comes as standard with it.

Would you scan forms without the Field Indexing module? I enjoy the Field Indexing setting too much not to use it.
