DocketPORT 667 scanner can achieve 20 images per minute. At this price, it’s not something outstanding as most devices will offer the same speed. An image representing one side of a sheet of paper.
It’s capable of scanning A6 documents, such as ID cards, business cards, and credit cards. A perfect tool for banks, hospitals and busy POS environments. It offers 600dpi scanning image resolution. This is the best you can get on a portable scanner. Ordinarily, an image resolution of 200 – 400 dpi is enough for your office jobs.
With USB 2.0 it works fast with your laptop and desktops. A TWAIN interface also makes it compatible with a lot of third-party software.
It uses a CIS sensor which is common with other portable scanners. The only disadvantage of this is that your document needs to maintain firm contact with the scanning surface to achieve a good scan. But the automatic feeder will take care of that.

Features for Productivity
The DocketPORT 667 is a simplex scanner with automatic color detection. The device and the software decide to scan it in either color or black & white and you do not need to select colour manually.
It also has an automatic image rotation feature. This makes it possible for the device to recognize the orientation of your feed document and decide the best output layout for it.
The DocketPORT 667 will automatically fit your scan to the paper size. This is an good feature for a product in the price range.
It does not come with an automatic background removal feature which makes it a little less equipped than a few products in this price category. .
Quality of images
DP 667 comes with automatic deskew. Most scanners in its price range don’t have this feature. It means you do not need to worry about feeding your document perfectly straight. This function straightens the image perfectly, and even if it’s just 1 degree, it can correct it.
The device is OCR technology-enabled, meaning that you could scan into searchable PDF, Word, and so on. Almost all portable scanner comes with this feature. It is something important for any new scanner to have.
This scanner though cannot auto remove the punch hole in your document and it will appear as a black dot on the scanned output. .

DP667 is a manual feeder as it does not come with an automatic document feeder (ADF) Tray. An ADF tray is that part of the scanner where you stack documents, and the scanner feeds them automatically during the scanning process. It is an essential feature that helps you to work faster.
The scanner is quite small and light (at just 0.53 lb) 19 x 4 x 5 cm. it does not come with software, and third-party software must be sort.
