The Fujitsu Scansnap S1300i portable color duplex document scanner is our first and favorite UK portable scanner. It can scan 24 images per minute. These are very fast scan speeds for a mobile color page scanner. It comes with a resolution of up to 600dpi. This is not the highest resolution but it produces great scans. The scanner supports USB 2.0 and 1.1 connectivity. This means that you can easily scan to your computer via a USB connection.

The Epson DS-80W is another great portable scanner available in the UK. It is a wireless rechargeable a4 document scanner that can scan 15 pages per minute. This is a little bit slow compared to other scanners in its class that can scan up to 24 images per minute, so you won’t be buying it for fast scanning. It comes with a scanning resolution of 600 x 600 dpi. This is not the highest scan quality but it can produce great scans and they will look just fine on your computer monitor.
