I can’t imagine scanning without Barcode Recognition . It really is a good separation or indexing method.

Always make sure your scanner has the Auto Document Separation available. Especially for QR Codes

It’s safe to say that OCR is something no scanner should miss. Scanning is not possible without it today.

For predefined forms I preffer the Field Indexing , just like with other standardized documents.
