When was the last time you had to remove blank pages manually? The Epson DS-1630 will do this automatically, when you use the White page detection function.

As you’d imagine, the MultiStream is featured in the Epson DS-1630 driver settings. It can be a life saver some of the times.

Quality of images

I have seen the Background Cleaning setting improve with every update of the driver, and it is the same case with the Epson DS-1630 scanner.

With the Image Edge Fill on the Epson DS-1630 scanner, your scanned images will look better than your paper documents

Can you trust the Straightening Image totally? Maybe not, but on the Epson DS-1630 it will work perfectly most of the time.

For standard documents, I always have the Correct Punched Holes setting turned on in the driver.

I enjoy using Streaks Removal on typed pages, but the Epson DS-1630 doesn’t feature it.

Extra Features

When scanning fragile documents, this Feeding Paper by Hand setting will help you scan safely with the Epson DS-1630.

I can’t imagine scanning without Bar Code Discovery . It really is a good separation or indexing method.

I can’t imagine this scanner without the Optical Character Recognition setting, as I tend to use it quite a lot these days.
