You should use the Automated Rotation of Documents for non specific orientation. The Fujitsu fi-7030 has such a setting and you can set it up in the driver.

One of the productivity features that we love is Document Auto Color Detection . This Fujitsu fi-7030 scanner works with such a setting.

I can’t imagine running a scanner without the Blank page detection . This setting is mandatory on just about any machine and it is available on the Fujitsu fi-7030.

Quality of images

The Background Removal is a must have feature with any scanner and the Fujitsu fi-7030 scanner has it as standard.

Sometimes the Document Edge Cleanup function might not work correctly. For the Fujitsu fi-7030 with colored images.

Skew Reduction can be done by enabling this setting in the scanner driver. It will only conflict with other special settings on the Fujitsu fi-7030 scanner from time to time, so keep it on.

Black dots on the side of the document? Tick the Hole Punch Removal box and your Fujitsu fi-7030 scanner will fill them automatically.

I’ve started indexing through Bar Code Discovery for some time now, most often using QR codes. This scanner has Bar Code Discovery , but check if it’s optional or standard.

Are you currently using the Auto Separation ? I really encourage you to try Auto Separation with QR codes.

The Optical Character Recognition is mandatory on just about any scanner and the Fujitsu fi-7030 comes as standard with it.

Would you scan forms without the Zonal OCR module? I enjoy the Zonal OCR setting too much not to use it.
