Features for Productivity

For mixed size documents, I usually set maximum size and let the Automatic Cropping do its job.

I like the Automated Rotation of Documents for documents that are not homogenous when it comes to orientation. A mix of portrait and landscape documents will be handled by the Automated Rotation of Documents mode.

I preffer using Streaks Removal on documents with writing only, but the Canon DR-6010C is missing it.

Extra Features

Should you use the Feed Paper Manually mode with this machine? I would say it works well on the Canon DR-6010C scanner.

Although the Detect Barcodes isn’t the only separation method, I recommend you get it.

As you probably know, Automatic Separation of Documents works with Barcodes or Patchcodes.

An OCR is standard with this scanner, as you would expect.
